Mavericks roll past Cavs; Pacers top Wizards in OT

Jason Terry scored 24 points, Dirk Nowitzki added 15, and Dallas opened 2007-08 with a 92-74 victory at Cleveland on Wednesday night.

The Mavericks held a foul-plagued LeBron James scoreless in the first half and dominated the defending Eastern Conference champions.

James had 10 points on 2-of-11 shooting and was a non-factor in the Cavaliers' most lopsided home loss since April 5, 2005.

Pacers 119, Wizards 110 (OT): Jamaal Tinsley scored 16 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter and overtime, and Indiana beat visiting Washington to win in coach Jim O'Brien's debut.

Tinsley also had 9 rebounds and 8 assists, while Mike Dunleavy added 25 points and 12 rebounds, and Danny Granger added 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Pacers.

Magic 102, Bucks 83: Rashard Lewis scored 26 points, and Hedo Turkoglu had 24 to lift host Orlando past Milwaukee.

The Magic was 12 of 22 from 3-point range, compared with 4 of 17 for the Bucks. Lewis was 4-of-5 on 3s and Turkoglu 3-for-5.

The Magic shot better from 3-point range (54 percent) than the field (44 percent).

Michael Redd scored 25 points for Milwaukee.

Raptors 106, Sixers 97: Andrea Bargnani scored 20 points, and Toronto began defense of the Atlantic Division title with the win over visiting Philadelphia.

T.J. Ford had 14 points and 12 assists for Toronto, while Chris Bosh scored 16 points, and Anthony Parker and Jose Calderon finished with 13 apiece.

Andre Iguodala led the Sixers with 23 points.

Spurs 104, Grizzlies 101: Manu Ginobili scored 30 points, including the go-ahead basket with 32 seconds left, to lead visiting San Antonio over Memphis.

Ginobili, who had 9 points down the stretch, added 7 assists and drew a late charge from Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay to preserve the Spurs' lead.

Hornets 104, Kings 90: Chris Paul had 22 points and 12 assists, while Peja Stojakovic added 19 points, in leading New Orleans over Sacramento in the Hornets' return to New Orleans full time after two seasons sharing home games with Oklahoma City.

Tyson Chandler had 15 points and 13 rebounds for the Hornets, while David West adde 17 points.
