Carol Stream Panthers Yellow 130-pound Silver: The undefeated Panthers defeated the Elmhurst Eagles Green 14-6 in the first round of the Bill George Youth Football League playoffs Oct. 27.

The Panthers marched down the field on their first possession, scoring on a touchdown pass from Matthew Green to Justin Olson. A pass to Dan Fierro was good for a 2-point conversion and an 8-0 lead.

The Panthers dominated the running game with excellent blocking. Brian Braids scored on a 32-yard touchdown run to make it 14-0.

Eric Sierzega sealed the win with an interception in the fourth quarter, which he returned for 40 yards.
