U.S. Coast Guard offers boating class

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 3-5 Waukegan will offer America's Boating Course from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the operations center, 9 Harbor Place, Waukegan, next to the Waukegan municipal Boat ramps.

America's Boating Course is for boaters and personal water craft operators and their family and friends who go out with them. This course is an introductory course for boaters and many insurance companies offer a discount for taking it.
