Search continues for Gurnee kayaker

Authorities searching Lake Michigan today for a Gurnee man who disappeared over the weekend have been unable to find him.
Walter A. Doroba, 44, vanished Sunday afternoon. He said he was kayaking on the lake east of Waukegan.
His overturned kayak was found on the water, and other belongings were found on the shore, authorities said.
The U.S. Coast Guard ended its search Monday, but the Lake County sheriff’s office and the Waukegan Fire Department still are hunting for Doroba.
