State government fails us completely
I am glad the governor rejected the higher speed for trucks.
You can go on any road or street in the state and nobody is doing the speed limit, so who needs a law?
I drive the Adams/I-90 toll road two or three times a week.
One day, I decided to go just over 55 mph. I had semis, eight- wheelers and cars doing 65 mph to 80 mph around me, with not one state trooper around. I have not seen a trooper in at least three weeks.
The thing that gets me is the House in Springfield is playing with these stupid laws and not doing a thing to get a budget passed. When are we going to find out our real estate taxes?
This is one of the poorest groups of legislators and governor this state has ever had.
When the election comes up in 2008 and any of these incumbents are running, we should let them run into a different state.
