Palatine man charged with sexual exploitation
A Palatine man is facing a November court date after police said he persuaded a minor to take off an item of clothing for him.
Dennis M. Galman, 36, of 251 E. Rimini Court was charged Thursday with one misdemeanor count of sexually exploiting a minor, Palatine Cmdr. Sam Maki said.
Earlier this week, Maki said police were contacted by a social worker who had recently become aware of the April incident.
Maki said detectives followed up, and after interviewing the victim and Galman, decided to move ahead with the charges.
Galman was released on $10,000 bond, with a stipulation that says he is to have no contact with the victim.
He is next scheduled to appear in court Nov. 8 in Rolling Meadows.
