3 Hanover Park residents busted in sex scam, robbery

Three young adults from Hanover Park were indicted Friday on robbery charges in a scheme police say started with an online sex ad.

Bryant Blegen, 19, Stanley Lind, 20, and Jackie Yeazell, 19, all of the 5300 block of Cinema Road, are accused of luring a man to a parking lot for sex advertised on the Web site Craigslist, then robbing him of $107, his car keys and a cell phone, authorities said.

Blegen, Lind and Yeazell each were indicted on one count of robbery Friday in Cook County.

Prosecutors say the victim contacted Yeazell and another woman through the Web site. The three met at a Hanover Park Internet cafe shortly before 11 p.m. Sept. 27, according to police reports, and then climbed into the man's car.

The woman directed him to a parking lot on the 1000 block of Parkview Drive, prosecutors said, then left, telling the man to wait.

The men showed up moments later wielding bats, demanding he hand over his cash and keys, officials said.

Bond has been set at $30,000 for Blegen and Lind, and at $75,000 for Yeazell.

The trio is set to be arraigned Nov. 15.
