Christians have no corner on morals
Morality is a system of judging behavior by an objective standard of goodness or evil.
To say that Christianity has a corner on this notion is to demonstrate the closed-box thinking that accepts that one way of worshiping god is the only, the correct and the perfect way of worshiping.
It is the sureness of Christians thinking they are the only ones who have the keys to answer the woes of the world that makes me cringe.
Other religious systems have wonderful standards of right and wrong, and at times, more appealing concepts of God and God's nature.
Knowledge and openness to other's belief should not be threatening to a real Christian.
As to the notion that Christians have a key to the best moral code, certainly Jesus did set a good example of acceptance and love of the unacceptable and the unlovable: tax collectors, lepers, fallen neighbors of the wrong sect.
But as to the implementation of the example of Jesus into the Christian life, well, let's say that he would probably love Buddhists, Earth-loving good witches, Hindus, and others that Christians consider outsiders.
