This county office is very well run

It is with great admiration I write this letter commending Mr. Michael Warner, the director, and Tony Wolff, the chief engineer, for making a visit to the county Storm Water Management office pleasant. I was met at the door by a very charming and efficient receptionist with a smile and immediately took me to a private office offering coffee and sweets.

I did not have an appointment; however I was seen by Mr. Wolff and he reviewed the survey I had and quickly showed me where I was wrong and gave me the papers I needed to complete my business. At that point Mr. Warner came in and made sure that I was taken care of and assured me that helping the citizens of Lake County was his goal and he shed new light on how a person should be treated when he needs professional help. My previous dealings with this office under the old management were never like this.

The county board are also to be commended for appointing such a fine leader. We, the residents of Lake County, are the winners.

I was very apprehensive to even ask for their help given the awful treatment I had experienced under previous management.

We all complain about our officials but this is one organization that you will never be disappointed in visiting. I didn't get the favorable answers I was looking for, but when I left their office I knew I was being respected and treated fairly by this fine group of caring dedicated people.

Thank you Mr. Warner and your staff for a well-run organization, and we look forward to having you and your staff around for many years to come.
