Movers and Shakers - Fox Valley

Linda Hartmann was named administrator of the year by the Illinois Health Care Association. Hartmann, who works at Manor-Elgin LLC, has worked in the long-term care profession for 22 years and at Heritage Manor-Elgin for more than eight years. Formerly a rehabilitation and restorative nurse, Hartmann is active in the Illinois Health Care Association's senior services programs, pilot programs for state and federal government, First Star program and other projects. Additionally, Vicki Lagtapon, director of nursing at Heritage Manor-Elgin since 2000, was named director of nursing of the year by the association.

Old Second National Bank, with offices in Kane and DuPage counties, promoted Aurora resident Don Pilmer to senior vice president and regional branch manager. Pilmer, who joined the bank 18 years ago, spent the majority of his service in commercial banking and branch development. He assumes management of the bank's treasury management group in addition to his regional responsibilities in commercial banking.
