Last year: WW South 34, Naperville North 20.

Last week: Naperville North 48, Wheaton North 10; WW South 44, Glenbard East 13.

Outlook: Perhaps the biggest showdown in DVC history between the two teams that have claimed the last four titles. Can WW South's defense, which has struggled getting three-and-outs, keep the powerful Huskies offense off the field? It's a tall task considering Nick Mlady, Tom Costantino and Co. have piled up 2,300 rushing yards. The Tigers need to be super efficient with their possessions, a task for running backs Francis Adarkwa and Peter Jarrett along with surging receiver Chris Schweighardt. Turnovers may also be a factor, although neither side turns it over much. Tigers quarterback Mike Piatkowski and the Huskies' Jordan Tassio have combined for only 6 interceptions.
