Addison Trail (1-7, 1-4) at Hinsdale South (2-6, 1-4)

Game time: 7:30 p.m., today.

Last year: Addison Trail 27, Hinsdale South 14.

Last week: Leyden 28, Addison Trail 20; Proviso East 43, Hinsdale South 27.

Outlook: Addison Trail had plenty to be encouraged about last week. Namely, the Blazers allowed only 2 first downs in the second half. And quarterback Zach Maxwell posted one of his best games of the year with 170 passing yards. In only five games junior running back Michael D'Ambrose has 678 rushing yards and a team-high 8 TDs -- a nice effort as the Blazers look to the future. Hinsdale South's plan of decreasing turnovers didn't work out too well last week. The Hornets turned it over six times, including four fumbles, taking the gleam off a 300-yard offensive effort. Quarterback Gary Mayberry led the way with 3 touchdown passes, while Dan Hopp rushed for nearly 100 yards.
