Baird & Warner making a difference

Employees and sales associates from Baird & Warner Arlington Heights will be out in the community on Saturday, Oct. 27, participating in the 15th annual Make a Difference Day. This is the largest single day of volunteering in the nation, bringing 3 million people together to make a difference in the lives of others.

Baird & Warner Arlington Heights is sponsoring a food drive at the Jewel Food Store, 122 N. Vail St. in downtown Arlington Heights from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to benefit Shelter, Inc. Located in Arlington Heights, Shelter, Inc. provides community based, emergency and temporary housing for thousands of children and adolescents from birth through age 17 in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, who are abused, neglected, dependent or in need of supervision.
