Briefs: Accounting firm makes acquisition

RIVERWOODS -- Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting said it agreed to acquire TeamMate from PricewaterhouseCoopers. TeamMate is an integrated audit productivity software suite serving corporate internal audit departments and government agencies in 96 countries. Wolters Kluwer Tax and Accounting, a unit of Wolters Kluwer, is a provider of tax and accounting information, services and software solutions serving professionals worldwide under the CCH brand name.

New grocer opens in Third Lake

THIRD LAKE -- Waterstone Produce Market & Deli opened at Waterstone Place Shopping Center on Route 45 in Third Lake. Chicago resident John Efthymiou owns the supermarket, which is open seven days a week. It features sometimes hard-to-find varieties of fruits and vegetables that come from the Southwater Market and the International Produce Market, both in Chicago.
