Walkabout to aid research of disease
The Sjögren's Syndrome Foundation will hold its second annual Walkabout Nov. 3 at Gurnee Mills 6170 W. Grande Avenue, Gurnee.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. Participants will go for a casual stroll and raise money and awareness for Sjögren's Syndrome, an autoimmune disorder in which white blood cells attack the body's moisture-producing glands.
