Lime Energy inks lighting project
ELK GROVE VILLAGE -- Lime Energy Co. announced the completion of a four-year, $8 million lighting retrofit upgrade for a major national bank. The project involved replacing more than 400,000 light fixtures with energy-efficient lighting in about 2,000 branches. To help offset the cost of the project, Lime Energy secured more than $250,000 in utility incentives. The payback period for the bank is less then two years as a result of reduced energy consumption and lower maintenance costs.
