Stabbing victim dies

A 37-year-old Waukegan man died at a hospital Saturday evening after being stabbed in Waukegan Saturday morning, officials said.

The unidentified man was taken to Vista Medical Center East after he was stabbed and was pronounced dead around 5 p.m., Lake County Coroner Dr. Richard Keller said.

Coroner's office officials are working on notifying the man's family before releasing his name, Keller said. Waukegan police declined to release any information until Monday.
