Pellet gun wound sends man to hospital
A Waukegan man was hospitalized after being shot in the neck with a pellet gun Friday.
The man was doing landscaping work when he stopped to take a break around 3 p.m. at Vineyard Drive and Grand Avenue, Gurnee police said.
The 38-year-old man had his back to Grand Avenue when he felt that he was shot in the neck, police said.
He was taken to Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
No description of a suspect or vehicle is available at this time, police said.
