Construction begins at Sanctuary Club

Construction is under way at The Sanctuary Club at Kemper Lakes in Kildeer, and model homes are nearly ready for viewing.

Nestled in the fairways of Kemper Lakes Golf Course, The Sanctuary Club is an elite community of 62 residences designed to appeal to those moving from traditional single-family homes.

"The Sanctuary Club is our most magnificent community to date, and we've incorporated every luxury into the designs and land plan that you could think of," said Keith Jacobs, president of Jacobs Homes.

The community features six floor plans with 18 exteriors from which to choose. Designs include ranch plans, two-story designs and master-down options with three to four bedrooms, 3½ to 4½ baths and 2,800 to 4,300 square feet.

Prices range from $799,900 to $1.1 million.

At The Sanctuary Club, buyers will receive covered verandas, multiple terraces, screened porches and courtyards that allow homeowners to enjoy their homes year-round.

In addition to traditional living and entertaining spaces, the homes will feature hidden reading nooks, libraries, sitting rooms, photo galleries and more.

Interiors offer foyers with soaring ceilings, oversized dining rooms and upstairs and main floor family rooms -- as well as a breakfast terrace and covered verandas, walk-out and English basements, butler's and walk-in pantries, walk-in closets, libraries, "mommy offices," master sitting rooms, wood-burning fireplaces, master baths with whirlpool tubs, hobby rooms, guest suites and photo galleries. Kitchens will offer commercial-grade Viking appliances.

Twenty-six new home sites set in the Stevenson school district have been released.
