Town-hall meeting in Spanish for leukemia patients, families
The Leukemia Research Foundation and Gilda's Club Chicago are partnering to offer a free Spanish-language town hall meeting for patients with leukemia, lymphoma or myelodysplastic syndromes, and their families.
This interactive question-and-answer session will be presented entirely in Spanish.
The goal of this town hall meeting is to offer patients and family members the opportunity to participate in three hours of uninterrupted dialogue with medical experts on leukemia and lymphoma and MDS.
The meeting will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 27 at Gilda's Club Chicago, 537 N. Wells St. in Chicago. A free children's program and goodie bag, and free parking are also available. Light refreshments will be served.
