Gala to benefit counseling agency
Lake County's Youth & Family Counseling will hold its annual fall fundraiser Nov. 4 at Froggy's French Café, 306 Green Bay Road, in Highwood. Tickets are $125.
The fundraiser will kick off with hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. with a live auction and fund-an-item immediately following. A selection of auction items also will be available online at www.missionfish.org.
Proceeds from the dinner will benefit Youth & Family Counseling, a private, not-for-profit social service agency in Lake County. Since 1962, the agency has offered a variety of counseling, education and support programs to people who live or work in Lake County.
The agency's work focuses on providing individual, couple and family counseling for Lake County children, teens and adults. By offering clients a sliding scale fee structure, beginning at $20 per session, clients only pay what they can afford. Each year, the agency provides more than 12,000 hours of service and touches the lives of more than 2,700 Lake County residents.
