The film, "Young Sloppy Brush," came out of Tricia Fuglestad's Dryden Elementary School art class. It was recently accepted into the Chicago Children's International Film Festival, which will be held in various theaters in Chicago from Oct. 18- 28.

"Young Sloppy Brush" is a musical video of how a once-handsome paintbrush succumbed to the evils of sloppiness in the hands of a careless artist. This camel-hair-raising story had to be told so other innocent paintbrushes wouldn't have the same tragic fate, Fuglestad said.

The film will also he honored at "Kids for Kids," an international film festival that will he held in Naples this fall. Only 56 films out of 500 were accepted.

The students involved in the film are Jenny Ruda, Elizabeth Vasilogamgros, Alexis Hall, Hannah Walsh, Gina George, Medeleine Ives, Megan Marfilius, Maci Sepp, Dylan Tarver-Andersen, Julia Dacy, Angela Grande, Sebastian Buczynski, Troy Phillips, Danny Huizinga, Alexandra Gueli, Kristina Myers, Abigail Lawson, Felix Saji, Jack Mannix, Nick Lazarz, Colin Orr and Robby Loverher.
