Briefs: Integrated Parking Solutions hires VP
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS -- Integrated Parking Solutions Inc., designer and developer of wireless parking technology, announced the appointment of Richard J. Malcolm as vice president and chief technology officer. Malcolm was a fellow at Motorola Inc. for the past four years working with the disruptive technology group in the cellular network infrastructure business. Prior to that assignment, he was a principal staff engineer for five years focused on wireless local loop business.
Targeting system demonstration held
ROLLING MEADOWS --Northrop Grumman Corp. announced the successful demonstration of the company's Litening Advanced Targeting system, the only targeting and sensor pod invited by the U.S. Air Force to participate in Bold Quest, a U.S. Joint Forces Command-sponsored military exercise. During the joint forces exercise, a Litening AT demonstrated advanced targeting, surveillance and net-centric war-fighting capabilities.
