Ski association details winter trips at Ski Fest Tuesdy

Rock Valley Ski Association will hold its October Ski Fest meeting for new membership and ski trip signups at 7:30 p.m. today at Thunder Bay Grille, 7652 Potawatomi Trail (East State Street and I-90) in Rockford.

Ski trip information will be presented, and door prizes, raffle and drink specials will be featured at this Ski Fest meeting.

Ski trips for 2007-08 are planned for Utah over the New Year's Eve weekend and to Lake Tahoe in February and Banff, Canada, in March.

The association says its trips are no-stress because all the planning is done. Group discount prices are available -- just pack up your gear and get on the bus.

Rock Valley Ski Association, a not-for-profit organization in its 36th year of skiing downhill, is a ski/snowboard and biking social club for those ages 21 and older.
