Holiday chorus seeking new members for season
The Green Oaks Holiday Chorus is seeking singers for its upcoming 19th concert for the Christmas Holiday Season.
The chorus will begin rehearsals Oct. 15 and will rehearse weekly until the concert on Dec. 21.
The chorus is based in Green Oaks and Libertyville with singers from surrounding communities as well. The chorus will perform Christmas music, carols and popular songs.
The singers have varied musical background and include some who have not sung since high school or college. All voices and ages, high school and up, are welcome with a special need for basses.
