Spoiled cheese

Best bite: The Bears' thrilling, come-from-behind victory doesn't solve all -- or any -- of the team's problems, but it sure feels good.

Brian bite: Here that music? That's the sound of the Brian Griese bandwagon pulling into town. All fair-weather fans hop on board!

Golden bite: If you don't love Bears kicker Robbie Gould, then you're obviously a Packer fan.

Unsung bite: As the Packers were mowing down the Bears in the first half, Charles "Peanut" Tillman forced two fumbles to prevent the score form becoming 21-0.

Worst bite: Pick your poison, Chicago fans: The Packers scoring on their first drive or Arizona Diamondback Chris Young's home run off the first pitch in Saturday's playoff game.

Refreshing bite: Isn't it nice when the Bears capitalize on their opponents' turnovers instead of the other way around?

Amorous bite: Is there any greater love on this earth than the one John Madden feels for Brett Favre? It's like Madden dreams of being geeky Gabriella to Favre's athletic Troy in a Disney Channel musical.

Questioning bite: Anyone else long for simpler times when everything could be blamed on the Bears offense?

Pop culture bite: In the pre-game show, NBC ran a clip of former boy-bander Justin Timberlake at the game with an unnamed brunette. Apparently Bob Costas and crew don't read Perez Hilton, otherwise they'd realize the mystery date was Jessica Biel, an actress best known playing Mary Camden on "7th Heaven" and vacationing in Puerto Rico with Derek Jeter.

Sound bite: "(Running back Cedric) Benson this year does not feel comfortable. He doesn't look like he really feels strongly about anything he's doing." -- NBC analyst John Madden

Salchow bite: Less than a month ago, the city had dreams of a Cubs' World Series and back-to-back Super Bowls. Now the only major sporting event fans can confidentially pencil in is next month's Wynonna Judd Tribute on Ice featuring Brian Boitano, Kimmie Meissner and Naperville's own Evan Lysacek.. (Coming to the Sears Centre Nov. 21. Good seats still available.)

Super bite: The road to Phoenix is still a long one, but at least the team is showing it still has some gas in the tank.
