Arlington Health Department offering flu shots this week

The Arlington Heights Health Department will be offer flu shots by appointment only from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. Call (847) 253-5532 for an appointment.

The cost for the vaccine will be $20, billable to Medicare for those with Medicare Part B as their primary insurance. Pneumonia shots also will be available with a doctor's order for $40, also billable to Medicare if appropriate.
