Here's why GOP is not a voting option
My fellow Americans, let me draw on some of the reasons I will not cast a ballot for the Republican party. I see the GOP as a political group with an agenda to support the wealthy and rich while turning a blind eye to other social-economic groups.
I see the GOP supporting and in turn, getting support from right-wing fanatics here in America while raging war against right-wing fanatics in the Middle East. Where is the logic?
I see the GOP as a party which has little or no respect for those who are not of the same-minded sexual preference, hence being discriminatory. What does sexual preference have to do with being an American or not?
I see the GOP as a party favoring business and commerce while putting secondary the rights and protection of consumers.
I see the GOP utilizing the mantra of "national security" to take away, not give, civil liberties. I see the GOP without a plan to insure our environment is protected for future generations.
The shortcomings are as clear as the polls which show great discourse with the leadership displayed in the White House. In short, I see the GOP as a non-option in '08 and beyond.
