Bowl to send band to Disney World

The Marching Storm of South Elgin High School has been honored by an invitation from Disney World Orlando to perform in an afternoon parade Feb. 17.

This is the first time for this trip. Sponsors are needed to help the students achieve their goal of traveling to Disney.

A bowling fundraiser for adults only is scheduled for 6:30 to 10 p.m. Oct. 19 at Bowlway Lanes, 810 Villa St. in Elgin.

Lane sponsorship is needed to make this dream come true for students. The cost is $50, which will include a certificate with your company name posted on a banner to be displayed during the event and at future high school concerts.

Individual bowlers also may participate for $30 per person, which includes three games of bowling, shoe rental and dinner. Non-bowlers can purchase a meal-only ticket for $16.
