$43, air fare will get you to playoffs ... in Arizona

It's good to live in Arizona. At least if you want to see the Cubs play the Diamondbacks for something under $800 tonight.

If you can make it to the game, you can sit in the upper deck for $43 a seat for the National League division series opener.

Granted, those tickets are in Row 29, but you'd be in the stadium, at the game, wearing Cubbie blue -- and it's a far cry from the $20,000 one optimist is asking on StubHub.com for a lone ticket in Game 5 of the World Series at Wrigley Field.

They probably still serve hot dogs and beer in Arizona, and the parking's likely a lot cheaper and more accessible than in Wrigleyville, too. Of course, there's still the issue of air fare.

But, hey, one crisis at a time.

Should last-minute transportation not be an issue, StubHub still had 522 tickets available for tonight as of Tuesday evening. And, believe it or not, four of them are right behind home plate -- at a mere $901 per ticket.

If you're one of those few people who actually plans ahead: StubHub still had 389 tickets listed for Thursday's game. Go for it.
