Seminars planned about special needs
The DayOneNetwork Inc. will host two seminars this month at its office, 1551 E. Fabyan Parkway in Geneva.
The first seminar on "Special Needs Future Planning" will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Presented by attorney Mark Russell, parents will learn the proven and easy-to-implement strategies to ensure your child with a disability will live a safe, happy and fulfilled life after you are gone or disabled.
For those in attendance, there will be a special bonus, while the supply lasts. Attendees or family members may receive a complimentary copy of Russell's book, "Planning for the Future."
The second seminar on "Trust Options for Persons with Special Needs" will be held 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 17.
Mark Doyle, owner of Everyone is Welcome and board president of DayOneNetwork, brings to this presentation an extensive background in the field of disabilities and in trust options. He will describe the major options and provide planning materials to help educate and simplify in the planning effort. This will assist families to achieve the best means to provide for their loved one without jeopardizing state and federal entitlements and introduce parents to a key organization that provides these ongoing services.
Cost for each seminar is $20 or $30 a couple. Sign up for both to receive a discounted price of $30 or $45 per couple. To register, contact Terry Kammes at (630) 879-2277, ext. 114, or e-mail Tkammes@dayonenetwork.org
