Democrats must stop enabling Bush, GOP
After Republican senators obstructed passage of a bill allowing soldiers equal time in the U.S. to their time served in Iraq, I feel it is time to ratchet up the Democrats' actions.
This action is absolutely outrageous.
Seventy percent of the country wants us out of Iraq within the next two years and this minority continues to follow the failed policies of this president.
At what point is enough, enough? How many deaths will it take?
The Democrats say they don't have the votes to pass legislation ending the war. That's true, but the Republicans don't have the votes to keep extending this war without support from the Democrats. The Democrats keep enabling the Republicans to continue this disaster.
I don't understand how any politician supporting this president's Iraq policies can get elected dogcatcher.
I am reminded of a line from a Beatles song, "You say you want a revolution." It's time for Americans to tell their representatives that enough is enough.
We don't want any more political spinning. We want action.
If they don't understand this, they need to be voted out of office. This is our country. They should be listening to us.
