Find out about aging at Sunrise

Sunrise of Barrington, scheduled to open in November, will host several educational programs in October that address some of the challenges related to the aging process. The programs will be held at Sunrise of Barrington located at 510 W. Northwest Highway in Barrington.

The series begins with a presentation by Mary Jo Geller, co-founder of Gero Solutions, a senior relocation firm. She will discuss "Moving a Lifetime" at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3. There is no charge to attend this program but reservations are requested.

Geller will discuss the logistical and emotional obstacles we face when moving an older adult from their residence and into assisted living. Area residents who are considering such a move for him/herself or a loved one would benefit from this presentation.
