Cambridge Run series past 75% sold

More than three-quarters of homes have been sold in the Spring Valley Series at Cambridge Run in Joliet.

The Spring Valley Series features five attached plans including a ranch style and four two-story versions priced from $175,000 to $200,000. The ranch plan features 1,250 square feet of living space with two bedrooms and one bath with an available second bath. The two-story plans range from 1,388 to 1,799 square feet with two to three bedrooms and 1½ to 2½ baths. All homes include two-car attached garages. Four decorated models are open for viewing.

Cambridge Run will include 124 attached homes in addition to 280 completed single-family homes. Cambridge Run features a central park with soccer fields, a baseball field, half-court basketball facility, playground and shelter. The community features five ponds and natural conservation areas. A walking path is being installed.

In the Spring Valley Series, two homes are joined together at the side lot line with one of the homes set back from the other to provide the appearance of a single-family neighborhood. Every home has its own front, side and back yard and includes full landscaping.

"These homes live like single-family homes in that owners do not pay monthly association dues and have the freedom to garden or fence their yards if they wish," said Paul F. Ivers, president of Cambridge Homes.

Cambridge Run is in the Plainfield 202 School District.
