Politics behind this Kane performance

Why does Kane County Board Chairwoman Karen McConnaughay use $20,000 of our hard-earned tax dollars during election season to promote water resource management when further action should have been taken to assist Kane County residents after the severe flooding last month?

The dollars spent on these political performances are better utilized on the people of Kane County instead of the politicians.
