Kane County
• About $300 in damage was done to a truck Monday when someone kicked it at Big Dawg's, 107 Main St., Virgil Township.
• A sign reading "Planned Parenthood Bad for Fox Valley" was reported stolen Monday from a yard from the 1S600 block of Deerpath Road, Batavia Township. The sign was valued at $5.
• A yellow plastic statue valued at $40 was stolen Saturday or Sunday from a yard in the 6N800 block of Maple Avenue, St. Charles Township.
St. Charles
• Kenneth L. Michael, 21, of 1745 Covington Court, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. Tuesday and charged with retail theft after stealing $114.78 in DVDs from Meijer, 855 S. Randall Road, police said. Michael was released on $1,000 bond with an Oct. 25 court date.
• Mark G. DeGuzman-Blackwell, 17, of 707 Lloyd Lane, North Aurora, was arrested at 1 p.m. Tuesday and charged with criminal property damage after punching two holes in a wall at St. Charles North High School, 255 Red Gate Road, police said. Damage was estimated at $50. DeGuzman-Blackwell was released on his own recognizance with a Nov. 1 court date.
