Slick Edwards not fooling anybody
You've got to hand it to that ex-ambulance chasing, ex-Sen. John Edwards, who is running for the Democratic nomination for president. He certainly is packaging himself as an agent of change.
Not only is he offering universal health care; now he is offering universal preschool. This, on top of promising a college education for anyone that wants one, higher pay for teachers and health screenings for the poor.
Who is going to pay for all this, John? Oh, right, ending George Bush's tax cuts for the rich, and ending George Bush's War on Terror, which is really just a slogan for a bumper sticker anyway.
Edwards needs a checkup from the neck up if he thinks the American people will fall for the latest campaign promises of this slick, snake-oil salesman.
