Story did not merit the front page
Does the complaining of a 14-year-old child really warrant a banner headline in the Daily Herald? Not as far as I'm concerned.
Why do you insist on feeding the egos of media-hound Rob Sherman, the Jesse Jackson of Buffalo Grove, and now his daughter?
I would suggest that if you consider the actions of this freshman agitator or her proud father newsworthy that you print the stories of their escapades somewhere other than the top of the front page. I would further suggest you limit any reporting on them to Sundays and place the column on the church-schedule page. This would serve the dual purpose of letting the religious folk know there are a couple more souls to pray for and inform the Shermans that the Daily Herald, whose credo states "to fear God," does not consider them to be headline-worthy.
