Tell us about your fall, winter bazaar
Is your nonprofit group having a fall or winter bazaar? An arts and crafts show? Let us help you spread the word.
Our much-anticipated annual listing of holiday bazaars and craft shows will publish Oct. 5 in the Neighbor section. Friday is the deadline to be included.
Write up the basic details of your event. Be sure to include when and where the event will take place, the cost of admission, highlights and a phone number or e-mail address readers can use to get more details. Also include a phone number just for us, in case we need to ask you a question prior to publication.

Kiwanis to take a 'trip to France'
Elgin Golden K Kiwanis will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 Division St., Elgin. The program by the Rev. Olin Sletto, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be on his trip to France. Visitors are welcome. For details, call (847) 741-7176.
Lions host wine tasting today
The Elgin Lions Club will have a Business After Hours, sponsored by the Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce, from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Amcore Bank, 1950 Big Timber Road in Elgin. Enjoy spaghetti dinner at VFW
On Wednesday, Watch City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1307 Ladies Auxiliary will host an all-you-can-eat spaghetti supper. Serving starts at 4:30 p.m. and continues until 7 p.m. Tickets are $6 or $5 for seniors and children, age 10 and younger. Tickets are available at the door.
