Lake County Audubon Society Notes

The next meeting of the Lake County Audubon Society will feature experienced birder and nature photographer Tony Szabados with 100 slides of a variety of birds he has photographed. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Libertyville Village Hall, 118 W. Cook St.

Tony's travels around the country have provided him with opportunities to experience many locations for birding. Among the North American locations he will discuss as his top 10 birding choices are the northeast, Florida, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, parts of California, Alaska and Point Pelee and several provinces of Canada. He chose these sites due to their concentrated variety of birds or because the birds are unique to a certain area.

All are invited to make an ecological connection by attending this free 1½-hour program. For information, call Chris Geiselhart at (847) 362-5134.
