Elgin

• Four men were arrested around 2:15 a.m. Sunday after trespassing at a Metra railroad yard in Elgin, with two of the men spotted walking on top of a parked Metra train car, police said. Arrested were: Roger Pasek, 18, of 948 Glen Oak Drive, Sleepy Hollow; Kyle S. Moe, 18, of 1005 Willshire, Champaign; John C. Schell, 17, of Gaithersburg, Md.; and Paul Ruggeri, 19, of Manlius, N.Y.. The four men each posted $100 cash bond and are scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Oct. 12 in Elgin, police said.

• Kenneth C. Dierks, 45, of the upper unit at 14N897 Route 25 in East Dundee, was arrested around 10 p.m. Saturday after arguing with a Metra security officer and then running on train tracks near the 70 block of south State Street, police said. Police reports said officers found cannabis in Dierks' pockets after he was caught. He was later charged Saturday with unlawful possession of cannabis and criminal trespass to state supported property, according to reports. Dierks posted $100 cash bond and is due to appear in court at 9 a.m. Oct. 18 in Elgin, police said.

• A man reported Saturday that his silver 2003 Honda Accord was missing at 1:15 a.m. from the intersection of Jefferson Avenue at Mann Place, police said. The man told police that the car contained his wallet, a shirt and a speeding ticket and that he had locked both of the car's doors, according to reports.
