3-car garages now offered at Carillon Club

Three-car garage options are now available with the freestanding line of Resort series homes at Carillon Club in Naperville, a Cambridge Homes' resort style community for those at least 53 years young that will include 906 main-level living homes when complete.

Additionally, a three-car garage option is available with one of the townhouse plans from the Holiday series.

The option to expand the standard two-car garages into three-car garages adds from $21,400 to $23,100 to the base prices of the Resort series homes. The three-car garage option for the Bruges town home plan in the Holiday Series is priced currently at $13,600.

The Venice townhouse plan from the Holiday Series comes standard with an oversized two-car garage. The extra space is approximately three-quarters the size of a garage bay storage area.

"Three-car garages are not typically available in active adult communities, and a three-car garage option for a town home plan is almost unheard of," said Paul F. Ivers, president of Cambridge Homes. "Three-car garage options, and larger garages in general, are becoming a more requested feature with aging baby boomers that have more cars or simply prefer the extra storage space."

Carillon Club in Naperville will feature a large community clubhouse that will serve as the hub for more than 40 different clubs and feature a wide variety of state-of-the-art facilities, including separate indoor and outdoor pools. Other lifestyle activities and amenities will include a no-fee private three-hole golf course, tennis and bocce ball courts, horseshoes, gardening, an extensive walking path, and a family recreation center with a shallow depth pool and fully equipped playground for residents to entertain visiting grandchildren.

The community features 59 acres of open space including ponds and natural conservation areas. For added peace of mind, Carillon Club in Naperville's gated entry has a 24-hour, manned guardhouse, with roving patrols nightly.

The single-family Resort series includes three ranch-style designs and a two-story version with a main-level master bedroom suite. They range from 1,760 to 2,322 square feet with two to three bedrooms with up to four bedrooms available per plan, two to 2½ baths, basements and two-car attached garages with available three-car garage options.

The Resort series homes are currently priced from $375,300 to $407,000.

Ranging from 1,491 to 2,608 square feet, the upscale townhouses from the Holiday series includes two single-level designs, as well as two, two-story cape style plans with main-level master bedroom suites, priced currently from $329,500 to $397,500. The single-level plans include two bedrooms and two baths. The two-story plans include three bedrooms and 2½ baths. All four home designs include two-car rear load garages and basements.

The Holiday Series are arranged in groups of three and four homes.

Carillon Club also features four ranch-style single-family plans from Gallery series, three ranch-style town home designs from the Champion series, and five single-level condominium plans from the Alpine series.

The Gallery series single-family homes range from 2,054 to 2,576 square feet with two to three bedrooms with up to four bedrooms available per plan, two to 2½ baths, two-car attached garages and basements, priced currently from $448,000 to $472,000.

The Champion series townhouses range from 1,370 to 1,707 square feet of living space with one to two bedrooms with up to three bedrooms available per plan, two baths, two-car attached garages and optional basements, priced currently from $283,500 to $323,500.

The Alpine series condominiums range from 994 to 1,370 square feet with one to two bedrooms and one to two baths, priced currently from $221,000 to $255,000.

Carillon Club will feature 443 single-family homes, 260 town houses, and 203 condominiums upon completion. All homes include unique architectural detailing with brick or stone to create rich exterior appearances. Additionally, every home provides maintenance-free living and will be Energy Star certified to achieve 50 percent energy savings for heating and cooling over the 2004 International Energy Conservation Code.
