Women who need Planned Parenthood
I am writing to voice my support of the Planned Parenthood facility in Aurora. This area is devoid of places where women, especially those without health insurance, can seek information, birth control or other services they need, which will prevent unwanted pregnancies. This need crosses all socio-economic lines.
Many women and young girls are too intimidated or scared to go to their families or regular physicians when they are in need of the services this facility will provide. Consequently everyone in the family and community, in particular the children, are negatively affected by unwanted pregnancies and/or neglected and abused children.
I am appalled by male pastors in particular who dare to protest against adequate health-care facilities which most specifically help women. I can't help but wonder how many unwanted, neglected and abused children these pastors have personally raised and or supported.
