The following events will be held at the Victory Centre of Bartlett, 1101 W. Bartlett Road. Most are free and open to the public. For more information, call Rita at (630) 213-0100.

• Septemberfest party, 3 p.m. Friday -- Enjoy a Septemberfest party with the Vern Perry Trio, a group of senior musicians performing all styles of music. The trio is led by Vern Pahde of West Dundee.

• Back safety seminar, 10 a.m. Monday -- In honor of Active Aging Week, Lynette Kentgen, MS, CCC-SLP and Area Rehab Manager of Legacy Healthcare Services, presents a seminar on back Safety, followed by an exercise class led by physical therapist Shailija Kanal.

• Lunch and Learn program, noon Wednesday -- In honor of Active Aging Week, come to the senior apartments, #1105, for a Lunch and Learn program presented by Phil Thomas, registered pharmacist with C.S. Family Pharmacy Inc. in Carol Stream.

Thomas will present "Polypharmacy -- The Use of Multiple Medications as we Age." Learn about drug use and how to be a smart pharmacy user.

• Trigger Point Therapy, 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 28 -- In honor of Active Aging Week, Balance Family Chiropractic in Bartlett presents Trigger Point Therapy, featuring five-minute small point massage sessions.

The sessions are complimentary, but appointments are required.

• Successful aging, 10:30 a.m. Sept. 28 -- In honor of Healthy Aging Month, Cheryl Joy O'Donoghue, president of Business Insights, presents "Successful Aging: Steps to Living a Joy-Filled Life."

Learn to put dreams into action with a plan from a certified Law of Attraction practitioner. Hear how to dream it, visualize it, believe it, plan it and achieve it -- whatever "it" may be.

• Piano performance, 3 p.m. Sept. 28 -- In honor of National Piano Month, active senior and entertainer Bob Kurtz of Elgin will perform.

Kurtz is an original Shakey's Pizza piano performer, and led sing-a-longs all over Chicagoland. He also belonged to the first Dixieland band of the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles.
