What's cookin' on 'Top Chef'

How much more insufferable can Hung Huynh get, you wonder?

Way more, as it turns out Wednesday on "Top Chef."

In a challenge to dress up chicken, onions and potatoes for the French Culinary Institute, Hubris Hung takes home the win and Arlington Heights native Dale Levitski narrowly avoids elimination.

Hung says he wanted to show his fellow chefs what technique was all about, and the judges were properly impressed with his sous-vide chicken and pommes dauphin.

On the other end of the spectrum, Sara Mair gets sent back to Jamaica for a chicken fricassee that was raw in the middle and not tasty enough.

Dale's duet of chicken with potato and onion puree didn't make him any fans but the attitude from the self-proclaimed "big gay chef" did, sending him to the finale two weeks from now. May the mohawked one triumph, we say from the suburbs.
