DES PLAINES -- OurHealthNetwork.com, a provider of custom-made foot orthotics sold through the Internet, is introducing an exclusive line of more than two dozen different styles of custom orthotics that not only provide foot pain sufferers with relief, but also cater to their lifestyles and shoe styles.

Illinois Tool Works makes acquisition

GLENVIEW -- Illinois Tool Works Inc. announced it acquired the assets of Hwa Meir Packing Daily Commodities Co. Ltd., a manufacturer of air-evacuable storage bags. Located in the Guangdong province of China, Hwa Meir will be a wholly owned business unit of ITW and part of its existing Minigrip/Zip-Pak/Space-Bag worldwide plastic packaging group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Hwa Meir manufactures primarily patented bags and containers for reduced space, home and travel storage, and organization.
