Want to restock your pond? Deadline to order fish looms

Need fish for your pond? If you have a new pond or an old pond in need of stocking or restocking, you can order your fish from the Kane-DuPage Soil and Water Conservation District.

Included in the sale are channel catfish, largemouth bass, triploid grass carp, hybrid sunfish, hybrid redear, fathead minnows and bluegill.

The deadline for ordering triploid grass carp is Friday. Sept. 28 is the deadline for all other fish orders.

Fish pickup will Oct. 6 from 7 to 8:30 a.m. at the University of Illinois Extension office, 535 S. Randall Road in St. Charles.
