Sherman Hospital invites area nurses to open house

Sherman Hospital, 934 Center St., Elgin, will host a nursing open house at 8:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday.

Registered nurses are invited to explore the nursing opportunities available at Sherman Hospital while meeting with nurse leaders and staff nurses from the following departments: Adult Med Peds, Ambulatory Recovery, Cath Lab, Coronary Care Unit, Emergency Services, ENDO, General Surgical, Labor and Delivery, Mother/Baby, Non-Invasive Cardiology, Oncology, Ortho/Neuro, Same Day Surgery, Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Telemetry.

Attendees also will learn about the organization and have an opportunity to join the Sherman team before the opening of the replacement hospital, currently being built at Randall and Big Timber roads in Elgin.
