Radio frequency identification, or RFID, has evolved since its inception decades ago into many different innovative solutions for various problems. Today RFID is performing tasks such as meeting Wal-Mart's compliance program, and improving management of expensive hospital equipment. Find out the basics of the technology as well as current cost and expectations for the future. Understand that compliance alone will not provide the ROI needed for the investment to pay back.

The technology is moving rapidly into many fields impacting the supply chain, government, and the consumer. O'Boyle presents developments going on in business today with RFID and how it may be an asset for your firm for the future.
