Emmy award tonight

The Emmy Awards are tonight, and the big question is whether "The Sopranos" and stars James Gandolfini and Edie Falco will take home honors for the HBO show's finale up against a number of top network competitors.
On the comedy side, "The Office" tries to defend its title against newcomers "30 Rock" and "Ugly Betty."
The attractive slate of nominees gives the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences plenty to pick from. Unfortunately, look who it has already picked as host: "American Idol" shill Ryan Seacrest, courtesy of the Fox network carrying the broadcast nationally.
